Overview

The role of Patient Driver & Transportation Associate is to maintain safety and provide exceptional service to patients requiring assistance in moving from the hospital location to their home or discharged location post hospital release.

Responsibilities

* Make patient service, care, and satisfaction the priority in every interaction by providing exceptional guest experiences.
* Interact with the patient to ensure that departure from the hospital is smooth and efficient.
* Provide a safe, comfortable ride experience from the hospital to their discharged location.
* Look out for the safety and well-being of all team members, customers/patients, and co-workers.
* Report all incidents in accordance with company policies.
* Perform any other duties specifically assigned by a supervisor or manager.
* Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of our transportation vehicles.

Qualifications

Years of Experience: Entry Level

Language Skills: Proficient in English both verbally and written

Education Requirements: High School Diploma/GED

Requirements:

* Clean driving record with an active driver's license
* Able to push patients in wheel chairs and assist with entering and exiting the transportation vehicle
* Able to sit for prolong periods of time
* Able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs
* Able to walk short distances
* Able to engage and provide exceptional service in all interactions
* Able to see, read and understand small print
