  • Provide specialized care: Treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Administer medication with expertise: Take charge of administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, always ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Thorough documentation: Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously, ensuring accurate and comprehensive patient records.
  • Empower patients and families: Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, fostering understanding and empowerment in managing their health effectively.

Qualifications
  • Home Health Experience (preferred)
  • Active LPN license in NC
  • Experience in pediatric nursing or home care preferred but not required
  • Strong clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and medical procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care for medically fragile patients
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
  • Must pass background check
