The MDS Assessor is responsible for assessing and determining the level of care on all new admissions and Assumes responsibility for all level of care changes within the facility. MDS ASSESSOR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Nurse (RN) License is REQUIRED
- MUST have MDS Experience
- Must be knowledgeable with all state-specific and Medicare reimbursement regulations
- Must possess the ability to work independently, problem solve and make decisions as necessary
- Must possess the ability to positively interact with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the public
- Must be able to develop and implement programs, policies, and procedures, etc., which are necessary for maximizing the reimbursement potential of the facility
