Description:

Position Summary
The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking faculty at the Assistant level with strong academic commitment in solid tumors, especially in genitourinary cancer.

Duties & Responsibilities
Successful candidate(s) will participate in outpatient and inpatient clinical activities, mentor junior physicians and participate in teaching activities of the division. Selected candidate(s) will have opportunity to participate in translational research spanning from laboratory investigation, clinical trials, and/or addressing healthcare disparities. Candidates may also have the opportunity and resources to develop his/her own translational research program.Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
M.D. and BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology required and eligible for State of Illinois medical licensure.
