OhioMHAS operates regional psychiatric hospitals in six locations across the state that operate 365/24/7. Our specialized facilities provide short-term, intensive treatment to patients in both inpatient and community-supported environments. We also deliver comprehensive care to patients committed by criminal courts.
We are accepting applications for a Social Work Supervisor 1, within the Community Support Network (CSN)Team, headquartered at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare, 2200 West Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43223.
What You'll Do:
Duties of a Social Work Supervisor for the Forensic Team at CSN:
§ Clinical Program director for the Forensic Community Treatment Team
§ Manage a team of 4 case managers, 1 Team Lead and 1 Social Worker and work as an interdisciplinary team with psychiatrists, nurses, vocational rehabilitation counselors and peer supporters
§ Meet productivity standards
§ Maintain a small caseload and provide case management services
§ Provide outpatient care to clients with a severe and persistent mental illness that have also been placed on Conditional Release via the Franklin County Common Pleas Court
§ Provide individual and group psychotherapy
§ Develop and participate in QA/PI projects to provide more effective care to clients
§ Develop Individualized Service Plans for clients
§ Coordinate care with the Franklin County Forensic Monitors
§ Attend court hearings as necessary
§ Coordinate with inpatient providers for discharge plans

Requires current license as independent social worker (i.e., LISW) as issued by State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist Board in accordance with ORC 4757.27; 12 mos. exp. providing clinical supervision. Pursuant to ORC 4757.41 (A)(5) any person engaging in social work or professional counseling as a civil service employee as defined in section 124.01 of the Revised Code who has at least two years of service as of July 10, 2014 is exempt from current licensure as independent social worker (i.e. LISW) requirement.
