Position Overview:

Anaqua is looking for a highly motivated recent law school graduate with an interest in a career in an in-house legal department at a fast paced technology company. You will be joining a small legal team with an opportunity to assist in a wide variety of software licensing transactions, privacy and security and general corporate areas. This is a hybrid role with expectations of being in our Boston Corporate office 2-3 days per week.

Job description:

* Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of agreements including international cloud software agreements, master services agreements, sales licensing agreements, amendments, NDAs, Data Processing Agreements and vendor agreements.
* Ensure compliance with security, export control and privacy regulations.
* Assist with employee-related/HR matters.
* Assist with pre-litigation claims and litigation matters related to contracts.
* Assist with corporate governance matters for subsidiaries.
* Assist in M&A acquisitions and post-acquisition integrations.
* Assist with real estate transactions.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree, J.D. from an accredited law school and current license to practice law in Massachusetts.
* 1-3 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or in house setting.
* Intellectual property coursework or experience a plus.
