Our Nursing Education team will support you and facilitate a robust learning experience. You will participate as a member of the Mercy Hospital Nursing team in the delivery of compassionate patient care. Job Details Our Nurse Externs: Observe care in Specialty Areas Perform skills similar to a nursing assistant, including but not limited to taking vital signs, performing blood glucose monitoring and bladder scanning. Promote a positive patient experience. Be a member of the healthcare team Attend many nursing education programs Other exciting experiences Requirements: Enrolled in a BSN program with completion of Nursing Fundamentals Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association. Salary Range USD $23.43 - USD $2,343.00 /Yr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
