Walker Methodist Care Suites provides 72 apartments offering expert care and services to residents as well as respite and transitional care. We serve individuals who need higher levels of assisted living and we are specifically designed to provide around-the-clock continuous care for both short-term rehabilitative stays and long-term residents.

Walker Methodist Care Suites seeks part-time Waitstaff to work in our restaurant-style dining room that serves meals to the residents in the community. Be a part of an amazing team and culture

Part-Time, 6 shifts every two weeks, includes every other weekend, 11 am - 7:00 pm

Job Functions:

* Assist with set-up and preparation of the dining room prior to dining service.
* Greet, assist and seat residents and guests.
* Serve food in a respectful, customer service oriented and timely manner.
* Bus tables in a timely manner.
* Adhere to sanitation guidelines, maintain sanitary conditions in the dining room, and work area.

Minimum qualifications:

* Excellent resident centered customer service skills.
* Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse population.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work within a team.
* Sensitive and respectful of senior.
* Knowledge of and ability to maintain infection control standards.
* Basic computer skills.
* Ability to foster and adhere to Walker's mission and values.
