We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Therapist to join our team and work with children and adolescents to address emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges through the therapeutic use of play. You will create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can express themselves freely and explore their thoughts and feelings through play activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct play therapy sessions with individual clients, using a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored to each client's needs.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Stay current on best practices and research in the field of play therapy, and integrate new techniques and approaches into your practice.
  • Participate in regular supervision and continuing education to enhance your clinical skills and professional development.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the therapy center by participating in team meetings, case consultations, and community outreach efforts.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Licensed or certified as a Play Therapist (e.g., Registered Play Therapist, Certified Play Therapist) preferred.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health or educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
