Job Overview:

This is a Clinical Pharmacist role based within the Pharmacy for Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Located in Livingston, NJ, come join one of the best hospitals in New Jersey

Qualifications:

Required:

* Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure required,
* Completion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD,

Preferred:

* Hospital pharmacy experience desirable,

Certifications and Licenses Required:

* Licensed NJ Pharmacist
* Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

Scheduling Requirements:

* Days, 22.5 hours/week
* Part-Time Schedule

Essential Functions:

* The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients,


* They are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures,


* They exercise considerable independent decision making,
