Job Title: Primary Care Physician

Salary Range: $200k - 250k

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team. The Primary Care Physician will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic health conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Patient Care:
    • Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
    • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including but not limited to hypertension, diabetes, respiratory infections, and musculoskeletal disorders.
    • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs, preferences, and medical history.
    • Prescribe medications, therapies, and other appropriate interventions as necessary.
    • Monitor and evaluate patient progress through regular follow-up appointments and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  2. Preventive Care:
    • Promote health maintenance and disease prevention strategies, including vaccinations, screenings, and lifestyle modifications.
    • Educate patients about healthy behaviors, risk factors, and disease management techniques.
    • Conduct routine health screenings and assessments to identify early signs of illness or disease.
  3. Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, specialists, and allied health professionals, to optimize patient care outcomes.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of treatment plans, medication regimens, and follow-up instructions.
    • Coordinate referrals to specialists and ancillary services as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  4. Documentation and Compliance:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
    • Adhere to relevant legal and ethical guidelines, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
  • DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based medicine.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
