The position works directly with students and consults with teachers concerning assessment results and implements research and evidence based best practices. Applicants must have the ability to adapt curriculum to accommodate student needs, to address core subject areas using non-traditional methods and be able to view students in terms of their successes and help them persevere when there are challenges. Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of math content and pedagogy, with VMI (Vermont Mathematics Initiative) training preferred.
