The Opportunity:
You will perform work that involves developing tactical edge solutions for Android and Windows geospatial information applications. Tactical Assault Kit (TAK) development focuses on bringing to life situational awareness and the integration of radio and military grade peripherals on a moving map application.
Your primary activities will be software design, development, integration, and testing using Agile methodologies. You'll be conducting end user interviews and requirements gathering, broadening knowledge on tactical networks and mobile computing, unmanned systems, and demonstration and exercise support.

This role is more than just coding. As a Software Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:
3+ years of experience modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications using agile methods
3+ years of experience with Java or Android SDK
Experience working in a collaborative team environment using Git, Confluence, or Jira
Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with geospatial systems, including moving map display, full motion video, geopositioning devices, advanced GPS technology, tactical networking, unmanned systems, or mission planning solutions
Experience with mobile device computing, including Android native libraires
Experience with tactical networks
Experience with exploit development and reverse engineering
Experience with telecommunications operations, computer network operations, SIGINT collection operations, information security (INFOSEC), and information assurance or research and development
Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
