Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Decatur, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Decatur, TX. This full-time position involves working with students across various grade levels, providing essential speech and language services to support their academic and social success. The SLP will play a key role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders, ensuring that each student receives the individualized support they need.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication disorders.
Provide direct therapy to students, as well as consultative services to teachers and staff.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs.
Monitor and document students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

Active Texas SLP Licensure.
Experience in a school-based setting is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
A passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
