We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team This role will play a vital part in assisting our Project Management team on our US commercial construction projects. This individual must live in a commutable distance to our Carlsbad office.Are you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.Standard Construction Company is a fast growing construction company that has a solid client base providing both Construction Management and General Contracting Service.For more information about our company, please visit our website at: https://www.standardcnst.com/.Responsibilities Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and clients to organize project expectationsMaintain constant communication with subcontractors on various levelsMonitor and report on project budget and spendingAssist with Prime Contract to owners for review and executionManage and distribute project tasks in Procore; drawings, commitments, invoicing, budgets, meetingsPrepare and write comprehensive subcontractsManage and process subcontractor invoices, change ordersManage and process owner pay applications and change ordersAssist in preparation of estimatesSupport Preconstruction with the bid processProcess and review RFI's and SubmittalsNegotiate subcontracts and change ordersAbility to create a basic project schedule and conduct project meetingsReport on project budget and spending-Profits/PSRAbility to read and comprehend plans, specs, and soils reportsEvaluate and identify challenges and utilize resources to solve problemsSupport requests from Superintendents, Project Managers and Senior Project ManagersQualifications · Minimum 5 years of work experience in commercial construction industry· Familiarity with construction management software ProCore· Strong negotiation skills· Deadline and detail-oriented· Excellent organizational skills and personal integrity· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills· Highly proficient in MS Office applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookPay for this position is $95,000-$115,000 DOEBenefitsStandard Construction offers comprehensive insurance including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
