*What will you work on?*

As part of the SFM team, your main responsibilities will be to:
* Provide intense in-home counseling using a therapeutic, evidence-based model
* Engage the child and family in services through various assessments and psychoeducation concerning early care and development that promote the achievement of safety, permanency and well-being for the children
* Advocate for families through attendance team meetings and court hearings
* Assist families in establishing a support network by utilizing family, kinship and community resources
* Complete accurate and timely documentation on agency database and meet weekly and monthly dosage for all families
* Report critical incidents to appropriate parties in a timely manner and staff cases according to need and model fidelity
* Establish and maintaining positive community relations with other professionals
* Meet with supervisor weekly to review assigned cases and develop as a leader
* Work in a supportive team setting with fellow staff
* Carry a caseload of 4-8 families, spending an average of 2-4 hours per week with each family depending on the model used. Leaders will ensure your caseload is manageable within a 40-hour work week, regardless of the number of cases on the caseload
* Prioritize cases and organizing multiple case demands for multiple clients
* Provide 24/7 crisis intervention for referred families through an on-call rotation
* Complete required training to stay up to date on therapeutic practices, to include burnout prevention, trauma-informed trainings and trainings to increase safety and clinical performance
* Work in diverse home situations, tolerate odors, and environments which may require safety precautions

*Requirements: *
* Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy or Counseling from an accredited college or university
* Licensed, or provisionally licensed, to practice Mental Health Counseling in the State of Nebraska
* Must be 21 years of age
* Must pass:

* Nebraska State Patrol Criminal Background Check
* DHHS Adult Protective Services (APS) and Child Protective Services (CPS) Central Registry Checks
* National Sex Offender Registry Check
* Any other background checks required by the contract
