In this role you will ensure accurate clinical coding across the health information management team. You will assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, review documentation, and provide feedback to providers to support compliant coding and optimized revenue and outcomes. With AHIMA/AAPC credentials, you will adhere to coding guidelines and pursue ongoing education. Telecommuting is available, offering flexibility while maintaining high-quality coding output.

Responsibilities
- Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes for clinical records
- Review clinical documentation for coding accuracy and compliance
- Provide feedback to providers to improve documentation and coding quality
- Adhere to AHIMA/AAPC coding guidelines and participate in ongoing education
- Support timely, high-quality coding to assist revenue cycle and outcomes
- Engage in remote/telecommuting work arrangement as appropriate
Key requirements
