In this role you design, develop and deploy enterprise data applications to support Advisory Board’s data analytics research tech projects. You will advance a modern data and tech ecosystem, collaborating with developers and analysts across the organization. The role combines full-stack development with data pipelines and cloud support, delivering scalable solutions that enable insights and business impact. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and mentorship in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.

Responsibilities
- Develop data-driven web applications using Python, ASP.NET, C#, and ReactJS
- Perform full stack development including requirements gathering, design, development, DB management and architecture
- Troubleshoot production issues to meet SLAs
- Manage data updates and pipelines, including testing across environments
- Conduct code reviews to uphold high-quality software standards
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes
- Mentor junior developers and provide feedback
- Collaborate with internal teams to create insights and frameworks for business needs
- Provide support for cloud infrastructure, including managing cloud modules, storage, and CI/CD pipelines
- Apply SDLC best practices across coding, reviews, source control, build, test, deployment and support
- Conduct root cause analysis across data, systems and processes for continuous improvement
Key requirements
- 4+ years of professional Python development
- 3+ years of experience with object-oriented tech and MVC
- 3+ years front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or AngularJS
- 3+ years experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redshift) and advanced SQL
- 2+ years ETL with Python and Spark
- 2+ years Cloud Native Technologies (AWS or Azure)
