As Associate, Training Developer you design, develop, and evaluate technical training for field technicians and front-line leaders. You’ll apply AI-enabled methods to create scalable, high-quality learning aligned with organizational goals. You will mentor junior teammates and collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and impact. This role blends instructional design expertise with hands-on leadership to shape technical capabilities across the field workforce.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop learning programs using advanced instructional design models (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning)
- Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify training requirements
- Develop learning objectives, assessments, and multimedia content aligned with goals
- Create or revise instructor-led materials with clear objectives and assessments
- Design hands-on, performance-based technical training for field technicians, including job aids and skills verification
- Apply AI tools to accelerate content drafting, scenario/assessment generation, translation, and personalization
- Validate AI-generated content with SMEs for accuracy, safety, and quality
- Document AI workflows and coach team members in AI use
- Collect and analyze feedback and assessment data to improve content and outcomes
- Lead project workstreams, set timelines, and report progress
- Manage multiple training development projects ensuring quality and timely delivery
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree related to Instructional Design or equivalent
- 5+ years in training development or instructional design
- 3+ years delivering technical training for hands-on roles
- Proven experience using generative AI tools in training development
- Experience developing, xhuatnn implementing, and evaluating training programs
- Solid understanding of instructional design, adult learning theory, and evaluation frameworks
- Proficiency with LMS platforms and eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise)
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to travel ~10%
- Experience mentoring junior staff
- Safety/compliance training knowledge (OSHA, NERC or equivalent)
