In this role you will develop and maintain Java-based PSIM, APDS, and MPI components within Deloitte’s Security Engineering team. You will analyze requirements, implement enhancements, and drive quality through tests and defect resolution, collaborating with senior developers and technical leads. The role spans IAM, MDM, and IBM DataPower integrations, emphasizing secure development and robust production support. You will contribute to project delivery with cross-functional partners, influencing secure solutions for government and public sector clients. This position offers hands-on delivery, potential project leadership, and exposure to modern cybersecurity tooling and best practices.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based PSIM, APDS, and MPI components, features, services, interfaces, and integrations
- Analyze requirements and data flows; implement enhancements and fixes in collaboration with senior team
- Create and execute unit, integration, regression, and performance tests; investigate defects and implement fixes
- Support IAM, MDM, ID Toolkit, partner systems, and IBM DataPower integrations including XML interfaces and error handling
- Participate in code reviews, release planning, deployments, patching, and production troubleshooting
Key requirements
- 2-3+ years of Java development and debugging
- Experience with Agile software development
- Java functional validation (unit/integration/regression xhuatnn testing)
- Experience developing or supporting IBM DataPower integrations with XML interfaces, routing, transformations, and error handling
- Adherence to secure development, configuration-management, and change-management procedures
