In this Data Engineer-Consultant role, you will design and build data pipelines and enable data-driven solutions for clients within Deloitte's AI & Engineering practice. You will collaborate with business analysts and architects, validate designs, and support deployment and post-production monitoring, helping clients modernize data platforms. This on-site, long-term consultancy emphasizes collaboration and value delivery with limited travel. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to solve complex data problems and demonstrate impactful engineering excellence.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business analysts to capture requirements and with architects to understand design
- Define low-level data pipeline specs using Databricks and Hadoop with Spark
- Unit test data pipelines and coordinate buildout with onshore/offshore teams
- Support SIT, UAT, deployment, and post-production monitoring
- Communicate with engagement managers and cross-functional teams, escalating issues when needed
Key requirements xhuatnn
- 4+ years hands-on data engineering experience
- SQL proficiency
- Azure Databricks experience
- Apache Spark experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT discipline
- Ability to travel ~10%
