This highly important role involves ensuring that the quality of our products meets and exceeds the highest industry standards for space applications. Responsibilities:1. Performs receiving and receiving inspection of purchased parts and subassemblies. 2. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product compliance.3. Utilize mechanical inspection devices and dimensional inspection techniques to measure and verify product specifications.4. Performs in-process inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements5. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues.8. Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings, providing recommendations for improvements.Qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality inspection role (ideally in a regulated industry like aerospace or medical device).2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.3. Extensive knowledge of mechanical inspection devices and dimensional inspection techniques.4. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS 9100, or other quality management systems.5. Experience with in-process inspections of assembled hardware per drawing requirements. 7. Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.8. Strong background in metrology (preferred but not required).9.
