Permanent Opportunity

Up to $65,000k

Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid after training)

* Mon-Fri 8a-5p with flexibility if needed; can expect to work 50-55 hours/week during tax season (Jan-May)

What you’ll be doing:

* Preparation of C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnerships, Trust, & Individual income tax returns
* Preparation of financial statement compilation engagements
* Be responsive to clients’ needs, recognize client issues, and suggest solutions
* Research accounting and tax topics relating to specific clients
* Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Who we’re looking for:

* Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience
* Experience in tax compliance services for a diverse range of clients is a plus
* Experience in compilation and bookkeeping is a plus
* Knowledge of Thomson Reuters tax/accounting software preferred but not required (Ultra Tax, Planner CS, Accounting CS, File Cabinet Solutions, and Practice CS)
* Use of QuickBooks is a plus
* Ability to communicate effectively and concisely
* Looking for someone who ultimately would want to become an owner of the company
* Someone who is self-motivated, able to support the firm’s management, provide leadership, as well as assist team members with all aspects of their client work
