Rehab Tech ( CNA ) Job Summary:

The Rehab Tech ( CNA ) assists the therapists and assistants with patient related activities and direct patient care. The Rehabilitation Aide may assist with treatments only when under the direct supervision of a therapist. Refer to Medicare Regulations and state law for the definition of direct supervision.

Rehab Tech ( CNA ) Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

* Assist the therapist and assistant in clerical and patient, client, team member related duties

* Participate in department meetings and in facility meetings as assigned

* Perform clerical work as directed, including computerized activities

* Consistently attends work and provides appropriate notice for scheduled vacations

* Answer and direct phone calls

* Develop and maintain a filing system

* Assist with treatment as directed by therapist

* Coordinate work activities with members of other departments and other staff within the rehabilitation department

Rehab Tech ( CNA ) Education and Experience:

* High School graduate or equivalent.

* CNA certificate if required by state law.

* Previous experience in patient/resident care in a nursing center, hospital or rehabilitation center preferred.

* Therapy students will be considered.:
