Reporting to the Billing Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring seamless client billing operations and compliance with client-specific guidelines. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your analytical, organizational, and customer service skills in a supportive, growth-focused environment.What You’ll DoAs our Legal Billing Specialist, you’ll take ownership of critical billing functions, including:Client Billing & ComplianceSet up matters with proper coding, rates, and task codes to ensure alignment with client billing guidelines.Collaborate with attorneys, assistants, and eBilling vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate billing records.Invoicing & ReportingPrepare and process client bills, including generating proformas, editing narratives, and creating LEDES files.Develop budgets, billing forecasts, and custom reports for clients and internal management.Collections & Follow-UpProactively manage past-due invoices, coordinating with attorneys and clients to resolve payment issues.Submit eBills, address rejections, and ensure invoices are approved and paid through various eBilling platforms.Be the Go-To ExpertServe as the main point of contact for billing-related inquiries from attorneys, clients, and firm leadership.What Makes You a Great FitWe’re looking for someone who brings more than just experience to the table.
