AEB Strategic Talent has various clients and locations available for licensed Project Architects with Healthcare experienceMake sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time role for a licensed Healthcare Architect located on-site in Dallas, Houston, Bentonville, Charlotte, Charleston, Phoenix, Atlanta, or Nashville. The Healthcare Architect will be responsible for designing and developing architectural solutions, integrating software systems, and managing projects from inception to completion. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with other architects, designing healthcare facilities, overseeing software development, and ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards.Licensed Architect responsible for providing technical leadership and documentation coordination, including development of design drawings, technical documentation, and leading project team assignments for projects which may be multiple, large, or complex in scope.TECHNICAL Directs the production of schematic, design development and construction documents.Maintains awareness of evolving building technology and systems.Understands and coordinates engineering systems relevant to projects.Reviews shop drawings, material samples and CD’s for conformance with design.Performs construction administration duties (e.g. RFI’s, RFP’s, change orders, etc.)Prepares reports and specifications; reviews completed reports, plans, cost estimates and calculations.Executes applicable agency review analysis (accessibility, zoning, life-safety, etc.)Generates construction plans and details, delivering complete, accurate and coordinated project documentation.Assures execution of and assists with quality control activities for all architectural elements.Conducts and documents field observations to monitor progress of constructionEnsures tasks are completed according to the Perkins+Will standards and Project Delivery ManualMANAGEMENTEstablishes architectural budget, task schedule and other components of the project work plan in collaboration with project manager.Directs production of construction documents, drawings and specifications in compliance with project scope, schedule and cost.Implements meeting objectives, facilitates meetings and provides meeting notes documentation.Maintains contact with clients, consultants and contractors during all project phases.May participate in marketing, client and owner presentations.Directs, organizes and mentors junior staff with responsibility oversight of their assignments.QUALIFICATIONSArchitecture and Architectural Design skillsProficiency in Software Development and IntegrationStrong Project Management skillsExperience in healthcare facility design is a plusExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to work on-site in Dallas, TXEDUCATIONProfessional Degree in Architecture and Licensure7+ years' experience in architecture is a priority.Advanced experience in project design, construction documentation production and construction materialsExperienced building codes, specifications, building and engineering systemsUnderstands project management process and can apply project management software skillsExperience reviewing construction documentationExperience directing or managing junior staffStrong verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative and professional work ethicPay in line with location and experience.
