Growing together.While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.Location: 15529 College Blvd. Lenexa, KS 66219Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00sm-6:00pm CSTPrimary Responsibilities:* Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member/patient data* Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy team* Communicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers* Contact patients to complete refill assessments, request payment information, establish delivery details, and set up treatment in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient facilities* Access, input, and retrieve prescription and medical/lab information from computer system* Verify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claims* Process prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapies* Resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is provided* Able to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality care* Follow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethicsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. be interested in.Required Qualifications:* High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician* Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Kansas* Intermediate level of experience with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications* Ability to stand, walk, and lift to 30 lbs* Has previously worked or is currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliatesPreferred Qualifications:* National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)* Previous Home Infusion experience* Pharmacy/prescription data entry experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment.
