Job Responsibilities:
* Set up and clean up treatment rooms before and after procedures.
* Prepare patients for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patient.
* Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
* Assist chairside by providing instruments, preparing materials, and suctioning.
* Take quality x-rays.
* Educate patients by giving instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures.
* Document dental care services by charting in patient records.
* Keep information confidential in accordance with HIPAA.
* Perform various light front office duties as necessary, including checking patients in, answering phones/emails, and collecting and posting payments.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Must be a team player, friendly, smart, diligent, willing to learn, and reliable
* Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently.
* Dental Assisting Certification and Radiology Certifications required.
* CPR certification required.
* Must be computer literate.
* Eaglesoft experience preferred.
