Position Overview

As the Licensed Mobile Mental Health Supervisor for NCG’s Crisis Response team, you will provide clinical and administrative supervision for a team of mobile crisis counselors, overseeing the delivery of mental health services and crisis intervention. This role requires a licensed professional (licensed in Virginia) with experience in clinical supervision and a commitment to supporting both clients and staff within a dynamic, round-the-clock crisis response program.

Compensation: Starting at $95,000 (Fully licensed) Sign-On Bonus: Up to $5,000

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision & Team Management:

Lead weekly group and individual supervision sessions for crisis counselors, ensuring adherence to program principles and clinical competency.
Provide ongoing training and initial orientation for new hires, including performance appraisals and corrective action as needed.
Collaborate with the Program Director in managing clinical services, attending multidisciplinary meetings, and representing the CR2 program in the community.

Crisis Intervention Support:

Remain available 24/7 for crisis intervention support, providing guidance and assistance to clinical staff outside of standard business hours (evenings, weekends, holidays).
Accompany team members to client sessions as needed and assist in crisis response planning and intervention.

Quality Assurance & Documentation:

Conduct regular reviews of clinical records to ensure complete, compliant documentation in the electronic medical record.
Participate in quality assurance activities, including client and family meetings, case reviews, and program audits.
Maintain and utilize tracking tools to monitor program metrics and client outcomes.

Direct Client Services:

Provide direct clinical services when needed, including covering shifts and fulfilling the responsibilities outlined in the mobile crisis counselor role.
Assess clients from a comprehensive perspective, including family dynamics, emotional and behavioral needs, and treatment history, utilizing various assessment tools and documentation.

Community Collaboration & Education:

Act as a liaison between NCG and external stakeholders, promoting and educating about the CR2 program with internal and community partners.
Support the Program Director in outreach and training efforts to increase awareness and accessibility of crisis services.

Compliance & Professional Standards:

Adhere to NCG, DMAS, and grant-funding standards during supervision and clinical care.
Participate in required professional development activities, including training in CPR and First Aid renewal.
Qualifications
Licensure: Must be fully licensed in Virginia (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
Experience: Proven experience in clinical supervision and crisis intervention within a multidisciplinary team.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills; able to support a high-quality, responsive crisis program.

Experience
Required
4 year(s): a minimum of 4 years of related experience, defined as providing clinical crisis services to children and adolescents with a mental illness, preferably with at the at risk population, is required. Two years supervisory experience in the Human Services field preferred. This may include supervised internships, practicums and field experience to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness.
