Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team This position is responsible for supervision of resident safety, monitoring and overseeing the Health Center.

Supervisory Responsibility: Train, supervise, and provide feedback on tasks performed by nursing staff in Health Center.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an Assistant Director of Nursing:

Assist in providing supervision/direction of Health Center nursing personnel daily. Assist nursing staff in assessment and plan of care of residents; serve as a positive influence to staff in achieving quality resident care.
Assist with the Coordination of facility’s Quality Assurance Performance Improvement Program in accordance with current and future state and federal regulations
May help to coordinate CNA, LPN, and RN training during the year. Mandatory 12 hrs. of training for CNAs per year. Track CEUs and report CNA registry as required.
Track disciplinary actions, licensure, certificates, CPR training.
Hold meetings and oversee committee functions.
Provide for residents' rights as defined in the Patient Bill of Rights. Assist with monitoring daily cares and programs that are in place to include, but may not be limited to:
Infection Control Program
Skin Program
Fall Program
Restorative Program
On-Call on a scheduled basis for nursing questions
Work assigned floor duties as Charge Nurse when needed.
Participate in the admission of new residents.
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

RN Required
Minimum on (1) year experience in Nursing experience in skilled nursing and Long-Term Care.

Salary Range: Starting $80,000 base
