*Essential Duties & Responsibilities:*

*Maintain the trailer yard and dock areas*

*Pull and place trailers into docks*

*Complete reports in an accurate and timely manner, this includes but is not limited to:*

Production Data, Truck Service Data, Safety Data, and Quality control Data as well as a daily time card.

*Perform daily services such as - checking the oil level, water level, fuel, air in tires, and clean vehicle as needed.*

*Report any maintenance items to supervision immediately. Be proactive in the maintenance of the truck and trailers.*

*Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining a well kept yard.*

*Maintains cleanliness of work area at all times.*

*Other tasks as assigned.*

*Yard Jockey Requirements:*

*Must have a Class A CDL*

*Maintain compliance with DOT driver qualifications*

*Working knowledge of Yard truck*

*Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain control of a tractor-trailer preventing the damage of materials and equipment.*

*Knowledge of regional roadways*

*Ability to maintain a fast work pace throughout shift in a non-sedentary position within an outdoor environment*

*Able to meet company safety standards and policies*

*Ability to work independently*

*Ability to perform tasks such as lifting (50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for a minimum of eight (8) hours per day*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
