The estimated salary range for this role $111,905.00 to $167,857.00 annually.
Assist the Controller in the management of all departmental functions, including routine day-to-day operations, monthly closings, financial reporting and analysis, accounting policy and procedure development and maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounts payable.
Responsible for the maintenance and administration of the general ledger system, which is essential to Bethpage's financial reporting.
Oversees and manages daily staff functions and activies to help ensure deadlines are met. Responsible for reviewing internal and external financial reporting, including the monthly Financial Report distributed to the Board of Directors and management, the Annual Report, the NCUA Form 5300, and Federal Reserve 2900 Report.
Oversee all financial reporting obligations, insuring reporting is completed with accuracy and on time, procedures are in place, and business continuity is in place. Stay abreast and incorporate all changes and new accounting issued by Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), National Credit Union (NCUA), and any other applicable regulating agencies and communicate these to executive management.
Responsible for managing external auditors and NCUA examiners to ensure requests and questions are addressed timely and accurately.
Responsible for supporting projects and initiatives as needed. Provides accounting team with direction and training to complete projects by deadline.
