*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of endocrine disorders.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal insufficiency, and metabolic disorders.
* Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including hormone assays and imaging studies.
* Provide patient education on endocrine health, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in endocrinology.
* Engage in on-call duties and emergency care as needed.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical research when applicable.
*Qualifications:*
* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification in Endocrinology.
* Valid New York State medical license.
* Proven experience in an endocrinology practice with a strong understanding of endocrine disorders and treatments.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
* Commitment to delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Fellowship training in a specific area of endocrinology (e.g., diabetes, thyroidology) is highly desirable.
* Experience with advanced endocrine diagnostic and treatment technologies.
* Bilingual skills are a plus, particularly in languages prevalent in our patient communities.
