Job Summary: Great opportunity for a dynamic and strategic leader to oversee deposit servicing / operations and vendor partnerships, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. This role will play a critical part in guiding the bank's deposit servicing strategy, leading operational teams, and managing key technology and vendor relationships.Responsibilities of the VP of Deposit Servicing: Core Banking Conversion Leadership - Support and guide the transition from Jack Henry CIF 20/20 to Silverlake by partnering with IT, compliance, and operations to ensure a seamless conversion process. This role will be instrumental in coordinating across departments, troubleshooting challenges, and aligning the conversion with broader strategic goals. Operational Oversight & Team Leadership - Lead and mentor the deposit operations team, including one direct report, while driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience. The VP will foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring operational excellence across all deposit functions. Vendor Management - Serve as the primary contact for deposit-related vendors including Jack Henry, Mantl, Banno online banking, Verifin (fraud protection), Vericast, and TruStage compliance. Responsibilities include negotiating contracts, managing renewals, and ensuring vendors meet service-level agreements, regulatory standards, and security requirements, while optimizing cost and value for the bank. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner closely with branch leadership and departments such as Compliance, BSA, IT, and Risk to ensure strong communication and alignment across teams. This collaboration will support deposit strategy, operational goals, and regulatory compliance, while strengthening relationships across the organization. Mentorship & Training - Provide coaching and professional development to staff, supporting training initiatives that strengthen operational excellence and regulatory compliance. The VP will play a key role in mentoring team members, building confidence, and preparing the department for future growth and challenges. Preferred Experience of the VP of Deposit Servicing: Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred not required). Minimum of 3 years of banking operations experience, with direct deposit operations expertise required. Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and inspire teams. Agile, flexible, and able to pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.
