Civil Design Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with experience in roadway, drainage, water and sewer systems, and land development projects. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple project components, and collaborate effectively with our engineering team. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.Prepare and modify engineering documents, including reports, specifications, construction plans, schedules, cost estimates, and design drawings.Produce high-quality engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Prepare engineering design calculations and apply standard engineering principles and advanced mathematics.Collaborate with team members to complete project tasks and meet deadlines.Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the engineering team.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.2+ years of experience in civil/site design preferred (roadways, grading, drainage, stormwater management, water & sewer systems). Candidates with less experience may be considered.EIT certification or active registration for the FE exam preferred.Previous internship or professional experience working with local agencies, permitting requirements, and site/civil design.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail with solid analytical, multitasking, and decision-making abilities.Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
