* *Valid and Current California PA or NP license*
* *Valid and Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration*
* *Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification * (May be completed before the start date.)
* *National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) Certification* (May be completed within 90 days of the start date. Please note that a lower starting rate will apply if not certified at time of employment but will be adjusted for certification is received.)
* *Proficiency in reading/interpreting X-Ray images *
* *Proficiency in reading/interpreting EKGs *
* *Proficiency in reading/interpreting lab work results*
* *Proficiency in procedures such as suturing, I&D, joint injections, and splinting*
* *Previous experience in workers’ compensation, occupational health, and/or urgent care or similar settings*
* *Open Availability for Rotating Weekend* (Initial training will be done on weekdays only and then the schedule will change to rotating weekends.
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. We are looking for a candidate that is friendly, detail-oriented, and has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, clients, and healthcare team members.
