Thomas R. Smart DDS, PA, located in Coeur d’Alene, ID, is a small business dedicated to providing professional and innovative dental care. With a focus on quality patient care, our goal is to maintain the tradition of excellence in a second-generation, one-doctor general dentist office. We pride ourselves on fostering a unique family atmosphere for our patients.
Our office is open M, T, Th 7am - 3pm and Wed 9am - 5pm with a one hour lunch each day, if you choose. We are closed one week each spring (typically the same week as area school Spring Breaks), one week each summer, and two weeks around Christmas. Our generous PTO offering is available to offset most of these weeks out of office.
We are looking for a part-time or full-time registered dental hygienist to join our team. Let's work together to create a schedule that is best for you
REPSONSIBILITIES
* Perform dental cleanings and periodontal treatment
* Proficient in digital dental x-rays (Dexis)
* Ensure infection control protocols are followed
* Take and record vital signs accurately during patient assessments
* Maintain and update medical records with attention to detail
* Demonstrate knowledge of dental terminology during patient interactions
