We have an in-house lab and do all patient testing on-site. Men want fast appointments and efficient care, and we deliver on both. (Our on-site lab gets testosterone levels back in 15 minutes)
*Responsibilities:*
* Evaluating patients for low testosterone and, under the supervision of a physician, prescribing testosterone therapy to optimize hormone levels.
* Evaluating patients for erectile dysfunction and recommending treatment plans like Gainswave, P-Shot or prescribing medications like Trimix
* Conducting consultations for new patients and interpreting lab results
* Provide patient education
* Administering intramuscular injections and PRP injections
* Overseeing Medical Assistant(s)
* Maintaining clinic census goals
* Complying with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
* Providing continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans
*This is a part-time-going-to-full-time , on-site role for a Clinic Director at Gameday Men's Health Traverse City.*
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing treatment plans. They will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in patient education and counseling.
* The target clinic opening date is October 30, 2024. From September 30 to October 30, 2024, the schedule will be set to approximately 24 hours per week to include training, scheduling patients and preparing for opening the clinic.
* Before clinic opening, there will be an off-site training requirement in Texas on October 9-11 (tentatively planned). You will be compensated a daily rate during virtual and off-site training, plus all travel expenses – flight, lodging, and food will be paid.
* As part of your employment, you will receive access to the Hormonal Health Institute & CME training series. Gameday will also cover the cost of your DEA & medical license registration.
*Paid Time Off (PTO):*
You will be entitled to 5 PTO days. We will revisit all benefits of your employment status changes from Part-Time to Full-Time and on a yearly basis.
To help ensure we can provide uninterrupted patient care, we request that you provide a 30-day notice for planned vacations, allowing us sufficient time to arrange necessary coverage. This plays a crucial role in maintaining a high standard of care for our patients.
