We are looking for people who are interested in working with a company that promotes growth and longevity within the industry. This individual will design electrical power systems for construction projects located across the country in a fast-paced, challenging, fun and rewarding environment.Position requirements include but are not limited to:Collecting and organizing all of the bid information documents from the General Contractor(s)Evaluate the bid documents and determine the best methods and strategies for design with assistance from the engineering manager/pre-construction managerProvide bid information as needed to the appropriate design services providersPerform preliminary designsProvide the estimating team with all known bid breakdown requirementsEvaluate all quoted items for accuracyOrganize the bid documentsCoordinate with the pre-construction manager to follow up with the client until the bid is won or lostQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering preferred but not requiredProfessional Engineer License requiredExperience in AutoCAD and Revit strongly preferredAbility to understand, interpret and troubleshoot customers’ needs and problemsExperienced in electrical design and circuitsStrong administrative, accounting, computer and communication skillsDemonstrated leadership skillsAbility to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levelsKnowledge of construction principles/practices requiredExperience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractorsAbility to build trust and influence others internally and externally10% travel requiredReady to be a part of building what’s next?
