*What You'll Do:*
As a nurse, you will play a direct role in providing LOVE + MEDICINE for a broad range of patient acuities. You will be expected to perform with a high degree of clinical and professional aptitude while helping deliver patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team of Providers, RNs, Paramedics, EMTs, Respiratory Therapists, Health Unit Coordinators, and Social Workers. Emergency Services, a Level II ACS-verified Trauma Center, is a high-energy, patient-centered environment consisting of 45 total patient exam rooms including ten Urgent Care rooms, five resuscitation/trauma/critical care rooms, and three dedicated Behavioral Health rooms. Patients have 24-hour access to laboratory, X-ray, and surgical services. We are also a Stroke Center with 24/7 neuro-interventional capabilities and a Chest Pain Center with 24/7 interventional cardiac catheterization lab capabilities.
*What's Available:*
* Part-time, 60 hours biweekly (0.75 FTE)
* 12-hour night shifts from 7p-7a, every third weekend and holiday
* Starting pay of $36/hr and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials
*What You'll Need: *
* A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing
* Prior RN experience is highly preferred
* An active Wisconsin or multi-state RN license upon start
* Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers
* Ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, including toddlers and adults
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
