Weekly Pay

$55/hr bledned rate

13 week contract with the possibility to extend

11p-7a, starting in January schedule will be 2 8hr/2 12hr weekly schedule.

Valid IL LPN License required

*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients in various settings, including nursing homes, urgent care facilities, and clinics. Your expertise in critical care and ability to perform essential nursing tasks will ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.

*Duties*
* Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
* Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.
* Assist with catheterization and catheter care for patients as needed.
* Conduct assessments and document patient health status accurately.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Support patients in urgent care situations, ensuring timely interventions.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
* Educate patients and their families on health management and medication administration.
* Participate in the training of new staff as required.

*Experience*
* Previous experience in critical care, nursing home settings, or urgent care is preferred.
* Familiarity with operating room procedures is a plus.
* Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is advantageous.
* Proficiency in inhalation therapy techniques and medication administration is desired.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team are essential.
* A valid LPN license is required, along with current CPR certification.
