We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care. This is to cover a maternity to leave which will start October 22, 2024-February 18, 2025

Ideal days are (we can also be flexible for the right candidate):

Tuesdays from 2-7

Thursday 9-5

2 Saturdays a month 8-1

\*Responsibilities\*

- Perform dental cleanings and assist with other dental procedures as needed

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Maintain and update patient medical records

- Administer local anesthetics under the direction of the dentist

- Use aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety

\*Qualifications\*

- Certification or associate degree in Dental Hygiene

- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist

- Proficiency in using dental software for charting and scheduling

- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures

- Experience working with patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry

- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $52.00 - $58.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
