*Summary*

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Genie Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to provide essential nursing care while enjoying the flexibility of travel assignments. This role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission of enhancing healthcare staffing solutions nationwide.

*Shift: *12hr Days

13 Week Contract

*Pay Breakdown:*

$50/hr (blended)

$15/hr (taxed)

$35/hr (nontaxed/stipend)

$1,800 weekly gross based on 36 hours

*Responsibilities*
* Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
* Assist in medical procedures and ensure proper specimen collection and processing.
* Administer medications and perform tube feeding as required.
* Conduct physical examinations and monitor patient health status.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
* Support patients with disabilities by providing compassionate care tailored to their needs

*Qualifications*
* 1+ years of experience as an LPN
* Must be licensed in the state of Alaska *(compact license not accepted)*
* Active BLS
* Strong skills in specimen collection processing and medical records management.
* Experience in travel nursing is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
