About the Position

ACP is hiring a part or full-time Outpatient Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LP, or LICSW) to become a valued member of our clinic team. Outpatient Therapists are an integral part of our team, providing much-needed services to a diverse range of clients.

Since 1980, we’ve been a leading provider of behavioral health care services in the Twin Cities Metro area. Many of our providers have launched their careers with ACP and remained because of our commitment to personal and professional development and career advancement.

At ACP, you’ll work alongside Dr. John Brose, Ph.D., LADC, LMFT, Minnesota Gerontologist of the Year in 2020, who received a lifetime achievement award from the American Psychological Association. Dr. Brose was trained by Dr. Albert Ellis, Dr. Aaron Beck, and Dr. Maxie Maultsby and served on the faculty of more than two psychotherapy training institutes.

Responsibilities:

Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
Monitor progress toward treatment goals, adjusting as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client progress and treatment.

Requirements:

Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.
Licensed as an LMFT, LPCC, LP, or LICSW in Minnesota.
Experience providing outpatient therapy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Timely, accurate submission of documents as required.
