Our practice is fast paced, interesting and our team will push you to be your very best.*The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.*Our work environment includes:** Modern and esthetically pleasing location with individual offices* Friendly, close-knit staff including receptionist and legal assistants* Opportunities to advance your practice* On-site paid parking connected to the office in the North Loop* Nespresso and coffee provided* Apple technology including firm-issued laptop provided* 50% of CLE costs covered by firm*Family Law Attorney**Duties:** Represent clients in all area of family law, including: divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and property division.* Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and discovery demands.* Conduct depositions.* Organize and maintain case files and documents.* Communicate with potential new clients, clients, opposing counsel, and court staff.* Schedule appointments and manage your calendar.* Represent clients at court hearings and argue cases* Represent clients at mediations.* Negotiate and settle cases.*Qualifications/Expectations*:* J.D.* Member of the Minnesota State Bar* Minimum five years prior Family Law attorney experience.* Ability to consistently bill 6 hours per day.* Strong knowledge of family law procedures and regulations.Proficiency in legal research and document preparation.* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney to join our family law practice.
