Cardiovascular Sonographer (ECHO, AAA, Carotid)

*The Job:*

Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures that utilize high frequency sound waves to evaluate internal organs and vessels for the diagnosis of disease.

Prepare exam room. Explain method of examination and position patient.

Assess the patient's status and needs, complete appropriate diagnostic techniques/tests to ascertain patient's on-going condition and perform the necessary interventions.

Review and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered. Ensure quality images. Coordinate the preparation of images/exams and needed documentation for physician partners.

Monitor equipment reliability and safety. Report issues and/or repairs or service due. Order and stock supplies, clean rooms, and equipment to maintain work environment. Transport patients as needed.

Actively participate in quality initiatives, including patient satisfaction, patient care, and workflow.

*Requirements:*
* High School Diploma or equivalent, required
* Cardiac Sonographer credentials (ARDMS, CCI or equivalent)
* Vascular registry, preferred
* Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
* Associate's Degree, preferred

At least one (1) year of ultrasound experience, preferred

Job Type: Contract

Schedule:
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* No nights

License/Certification:
* BLS Certification (Required)

Ability to Commute:
* Daytona Beach, FL 32114 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:
