Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for an inpatient position at CHA Everett Hospital, a 162-bed acute care and psychiatric facility in Everett, MA. Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our inpatient team at Everett Hospital in Everett, MA. Everett Hospital is a 162-bed acute care hospital with medical-surgical units, an intensive care unit, a geriatric psych unit, and an adult psychiatric unit. Everett Hospital is part of Cambridge Health Alliance, a three hospital health system that is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health, Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.

What You'll Do:
  • work primarily in an inpatient acute care setting, providing top-quality nutrition care to patients on med/surg, ICU, and adult/geriatric behavioral health units;
  • be flexible, reliable and knowledgeable, serving as a respected member of the interdisciplinary team;
  • act as a community and clinical educator, giving presentations on a variety of nutrition topics as needed; and
  • be involved as a clinical instructor and preceptor for dietetic interns.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
