Lignum Dental is searching for the right person to join our team. We are a forward thinking Dental Office in La Vergne, TN. We are very patient centric, professional and innovative. We strive to utilized the latest technologies dentistry has to offer, in order to provide the best patient experince possible.
We are interested in hiring an experienced and professional Dental Hygienist who has a passion for creating an inviting environment and providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in dental hygiene and will enjoy working with a team dedicated to the dental needs of each patient. We are currently seeking a hygienist to work 1-3 days a week, Wednesday - Friday, 7:30am- 5pm
Responsibilities:
* Clean patients' teeth and gums.
* File records and complete dental charts.
* Clean equipment and sterilize instruments.
* Maintain dental records.
* Take dental X-rays.
* Perform oral exams with patients, using a mirror and pick up tools as needed.
* Monitor communicable diseases and alert dentists of potential problems.
* Be able to give advice to patients on how to properly take care of their teeth and gums.
* Have knowledge of local anesthetic drugs, their proper use, and side effects.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $43.00 - $46.50 per hour
Expected hours: 9 – 29 per week
