Bright Direction Dental is currently seeking a talented, wellness-focused, experienced Part-Time Orthodontist (1 day per week) to join our cutting-edge, innovative dental practice. With a focus on prevention, rather than production, we are building a unique platform in the dental space and seeking the perfect Orthodontist to join our amazing team.

Schedule is flexible 1 day per week to begin would be preferred

Responsibilities:

Deliver excellence in clinical care while operating in a high paced environment
Skill in providing excellent customer service and support; organizing and prioritizing workload
Delivery of patient and team education with proficient written and verbal communication
Perform dental examinations and create comprehensive treatment plans
Diagnose and deliver clear aligner technology orthodontic treatment- Invisalign
Interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse cultural, social, economic, education, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds
Consistently maintain ethical behavior exemplary of quality public service and fair standards, inclusively, among all employees and members of the public
Work effectively with fellow BDD Doctors, Registered Dental Hygienists, managers, co-worker
Follow practice guidelines – including OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to participation on clinical committees, providing education, Quality Reviews and/or other team activities
Maintain a professional appearance
Hold self and fellow team members accountable to follow the culture established in the BDD Mission and Values
Participate in marketing strategies to provide growth to practice
Requirements:

Education and Experience Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree and Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree is required.
Completion of residency with an accredited orthodontic program is required.
At least 1 year of orthodontist experience is required.
An active dental license in Illinois is required.
Board certification is strongly preferred.

Provide excellent clinical care/diagnosis in all aspects of general dentistry
Experience with Invisalign clear aligners and iTero scanning technology - preferred
Experience with modern dental whitening procedures
Certification for Botox and cosmetic fillers is a plus
Proficient with dental software's- (Denticon PMS)
