Salary Range: $84,000 - $108,000Location: Colorado Springs, COWork Hours: Between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PMGeneral Job Description:This position is primarily responsible for successfully modeling and coordinating projects from start to finish using the latest technologies, Virtual Construction Standards, and industry best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient outcomes.Want to make an application Make sure your CV is up to date, then read the following job specs carefully before applying.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Lead and perform detailing for Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing systems.Optimize layout/routing, minimize fitting usage, and identify design flaws.Identify opportunities for efficiency and risk reduction.Interpret and extract data from contract documents (plans, specs, submittals).Model and coordinate in 3D using Revit and CAD tools.Participate in project coordination meetings and collaborate with BIM and management teams.Generate layout point files for Trimble and Topcon.Support other detailers as needed.Maintain constant communication with project stakeholders including PMs, foremen, fabrication shops, and external trades.Manage model uploads, logs, RFIs, and documentation.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:5+ years of relevant field experience.High school diploma or equivalent.Background in Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing trades.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in: Autodesk Revit, Fabrication, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360 Glue & DocsBluebeam Revu, BOX, SmartsheetGoogle Workspace (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Forms)Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Applicable building codes (local, state, international)Preferred Skills (Not Required):Experience with Dynamo, Forge, Python, Revit API, C#, , F#Trade school educationSpanish language proficiency All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
